I have been stumped on what to write about this week, and while I was looking through some of my wedding pictures, I realized I have yet to talk about my WONDERFUL wedding venue, the Red House.
The Red House is located in the heart of downtown Franklin, TN (a 30 minute drive from Nashville), and was formally a recording studio. The walls are decorated in old rock n roll memorabilia, including gold record albums, vintage posters, guitars, and even a few signatures of artists who have visited the former recording studio.
I fell in love with the Red House after seeing it featured in a Nashville magazine back in 2009, and at first I had no idea it was an event venue, I just loved the decor and vibe. When researching venues in 2011-2012 for my best friend’s wedding, I stumbled across the Red House again, and knew it would be my wedding venue.
After meeting with Beth, the event coordinator, I fell even more in love. She has such a welcoming, laid-back personality which makes her a joy to work with. She was able to answer all of my questions, and gave a lot of recommendations that we used, and loved. We had a couple of hiccups the day of our wedding (wind, and later rain), and she handled them with the greatest of ease.
Here are a couple of my own pictures of the Red House (I will add more as I get them). Enjoy!!
